Role Summary
Zoetis India Capability Center (ZICC) is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer in Hyderabad to build robust and scalable digital product applications. The role combines full-stack development with DevOps responsibilities, covering application design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, production support, and collaboration with technical leadership and global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and document features for backend and frontend proxy services that deliver business value to custom digital products.
- Backend Engineering: Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET/.NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework, and relational databases.
- Frontend Engineering: Build modern, responsive frontend applications using React and/or Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Bug Resolution: Investigate application defects, identify root causes, recommend solutions, and implement effective fixes.
- Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback to developers, and promote high-quality coding practices across the team.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Manage releases, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and DevOps activities using Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, and related technologies.
- Cloud Operations: Deploy and monitor cloud applications and contribute to application reliability, performance, and operational improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product Managers, Tech Leads, Software Developers, QA Specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements, designs, and technical solutions are aligned.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of software development experience with relevant technologies.
- Frontend: Hands-on experience with React, including Hooks, Context API, React Router, and state management, and/or Angular with components, services, RxJS, and TypeScript.
- Web Technologies: Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, responsive design, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Frontend Testing: Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Jasmine/Karma, or Cypress.
- Backend: Strong experience with .NET/.NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, RESTful services, and Entity Framework.
- Databases: Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including database design, queries, and optimization.
- DevOps: Experience with Git, branching strategies, code review practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker containerization.
- Cloud: Experience with Azure cloud services is preferred; AWS or GCP experience is also acceptable.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with technical leadership and globally distributed teams.
