Role Summary
Zensar Technologies is looking for an experienced C# Automation Testing - SDET to join our quality engineering team in Kharadi, Pune. In this role, you will design, implement, and scale robust automation test frameworks for mission-critical web applications and backend APIs within the banking and credit card domains. You will partner closely with engineering squads to translate complex transactional workflows into automated test suites using C#, identify edge cases, drive defect triage, and uphold stringent quality standards across enterprise banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Framework Engineering: Architect, develop, and maintain modular test automation frameworks and scripts in C# for complex web user interfaces and RESTful APIs.
- Banking Domain Quality Assurance: Validate transactional workflows, credit card processing logic, payment rails, and customer journeys across high-security platforms.
- API & End-to-End Verification: Execute automated and exploratory API tests, inspect network payloads, validate data contracts, and report actionable bug analytics to developers.
- Test Coverage & Quality Metrics: Maintain comprehensive test plans, automated suites, and coverage reports, ensuring complete functional, regression, and performance test readiness.
- Cross-Functional Triage: Work hand-in-hand with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate test suites into automated build and release pipelines.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of solid software testing experience, with a core focus on C#-based automation engineering.
- Core Stack: Advanced proficiency in C# test automation (Selenium WebDriver, RestSharp/HttpClient), API testing tools (Postman), web technologies, and structured defect lifecycle tracking.
- Domain Expertise: Proven, hands-on domain experience testing banking, payment gateway, or credit card platforms.
- Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (SpecFlow), test runners (NUnit/MSTest), and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or Jenkins).
- Professional Competencies: Strong analytical debugging, disciplined multitasking, and clear technical communication across cross-functional engineering teams.
