Cloud Azure Lead

Role Summary

Wipro Limited is hiring a Cloud Azure Lead for its enterprise cloud operations team in Pune, Maharashtra. In this technical leadership and infrastructure engineering role, you will oversee hybrid cloud environments, manage core Azure cloud services, administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory frameworks, and write PowerShell automation scripts. You will also resolve complex high-priority incidents, analyze performance trends, ensure strict SLA compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement preventive mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Azure & Hybrid Cloud Administration: Manage enterprise Microsoft Azure services, hybrid cloud architectures, Windows Server platforms, and storage/file systems.
  • Infrastructure Automation & Scripting: Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to automate routine operations, cloud provisioning, and system maintenance tasks.
  • Identity & Network Operations: Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365 services, and core network components including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and load balancers.
  • Incident Leadership & Performance Tuning: Drive advanced troubleshooting for high-priority incidents, ensure strict SLA compliance, conduct root cause analysis, and establish long-term mitigation measures.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 5–8 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
  • Mandatory Technical Stack: Azure Cloud Administration, PowerShell scripting, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Networking (DNS/DHCP/VPN/Load Balancers).
  • Preferred Technical Exposure: M365 Administration, Azure Governance, ITIL incident/problem management practices, and enterprise storage architectures.
