Role Overview
Warner Bros. Discovery / Skydance is seeking an App Developer - AI/ML based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India (Hybrid). In this engineering role, you will build and optimize mobile and web applications powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning across global media and entertainment services. You will design user interfaces, implement real-time model inference pipelines, integrate machine learning models across mobile and web platforms, and coordinate with data scientists, AI architects, and product managers to deliver personalized content recommendations, intelligent search, and dynamic content creation.
Core Responsibilities
- AI/ML Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML-powered mobile and web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless model integration.
- Model Integration & Optimization: Integrate trained machine learning models into client-facing platforms, optimize models for real-time inference to reduce latency, and manage model versioning and rollback strategies.
- Full-Stack & Interface Engineering: Build responsive interfaces and backend endpoints to support AI capabilities, including personalized recommendations, intelligent search, and dynamic media workflows.
- Pipeline & Deployment Operations: Implement end-to-end solutions incorporating data pipelines, cloud services, and containerized deployments across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Develop unit and integration tests for AI-driven application features, debug performance bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to security and coding standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UX/UI designers, and data scientists to translate product requirements into technical implementations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of professional app development experience with a focus on integrating AI/ML models into production applications.
- Application Development: Hands-on proficiency in mobile or web development frameworks, such as React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Django, or Flask.
- AI/ML Frameworks: Direct experience working with machine learning libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying and integrating AI models within cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Advanced Technical Skills: Familiarity with Generative AI architectures (Transformers, Diffusion models), LLM fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, PEFT), API integrations (OpenAI, Hugging Face, Gemini), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow, GitHub Actions).
