Role Summary
WAISL Digital is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee daily on-site activities for construction, fit-out, and engineering projects in New Delhi. The role combines site supervision, technical coordination, IT infrastructure support, project monitoring, stakeholder management, and troubleshooting across smart airport and digital infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Manage and supervise on-site activities to ensure work is executed according to project plans, specifications, safety standards, and schedules.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary site contact and coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve issues and maintain smooth project execution.
- Technical Documentation: Review and interpret blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, technical specifications, construction reports, change orders, and daily progress reports.
- Project Monitoring: Track project progress, identify delays or deviations, coordinate corrective actions, and support timely project completion.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site technical assistance and troubleshoot construction, engineering, IT infrastructure, network, and system-related issues.
- Infrastructure Systems: Support systems including CCTV, Video Analytics, Access Control, PIDS, GIS/LBS, IoT devices, servers, storage, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Safety & Risk: Conduct risk assessments, enforce safety guidelines, and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and building codes.
- Materials & Equipment: Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment and ensure efficient use of resources to maintain quality and cost efficiency.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of site engineering experience, preferably in construction, smart city, smart building, IoT, or related industries. The position is listed under a 3–8 year experience category.
- Project Skills: Proficiency in interpreting AutoCAD drawings and using MS Project or equivalent project management tools.
- IT Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with CCTV, Video Analytics, Access Control, PIDS, GIS/LBS, L2/L3 switching, routers, IoT sensors, servers, storage, and firewalls.
- Systems & Networking: Windows OS support, system performance optimization, basic application troubleshooting, and network troubleshooting.
- Networking: Networking knowledge is required; CCNA or a similar certification is an advantage.
- Preferred Experience: Smart City or IoT infrastructure projects, large-scale residential/commercial construction, and knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Professional Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, time management, and adaptability.
