Role Summary
UST is hiring an ML Engineer I for its AI-driven hardware and software validation group in Hyderabad. In this AI/ML test engineering role, you will design smart validation methodologies and test automation frameworks to validate Graphics, Display, Multimedia, and Audio features on AMD SoCs. You will build and train machine learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow, develop automation tools in Python and C on Windows OS environments, and execute driver-level debugging across Windows kernel architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- AI/ML-Driven Test Automation: Design and deploy AI/ML methodologies and automation frameworks in Python, C, Perl, and Shell scripts to streamline silicon and software validation.
- Hardware & SoC Feature Testing: Test, validate, and troubleshoot Graphics, Display, Multimedia, and Audio features on AMD SoCs, performing issue isolation at the Windows kernel and driver module levels.
- ML Model Development: Train and deploy machine learning models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or TorchRL, incorporating Computer Vision and LLM/multimodal techniques into quality assurance pipelines.
- CI/CD & Database Integration: Manage test automation databases using SQL/Snowflake, integrate scripts into continuous integration (CI) workflows, and optimize core validation software on Windows platforms.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in CS/ECE with 2–3+ years of experience, or Master's degree in CS/ECE with 1–2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience: 2–7 years of software engineering experience encompassing ML model development and Windows driver/software validation.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Python, C/C++, PyTorch or TensorFlow, Windows OS fundamentals (kernel, boot process, graphics architecture), automation scripting, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: TorchRL, LLMs, Computer Vision, AMD SoC architecture, VBIOS/BIOS debugging, Snowflake, and CSM or PMP certification.
