Role Summary
UST is hiring a Full-Stack .NET Developer in Pune. In this role, you will design and build scalable, high-performance applications leveraging .NET Core microservices, Clean Architecture, and modern front-end frameworks (Angular/React). A key element of this role is using AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, automated code generation) to accelerate feature delivery, optimize database queries, and maintain clean coding standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Engineering: Design, build, and deploy robust microservices and responsive web applications using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, or React.
- AI-Driven Workflows: Leverage AI-powered coding tools and code assistants (GitHub Copilot, testing aids) to speed up execution, reduce technical debt, and automate workflows.
- API & Architecture Design: Build secure RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and cloud components following SOLID principles and Clean Architecture patterns.
- Database & Performance Tuning: Write optimized SQL/NoSQL schemas, tune database queries, and eliminate system bottlenecks to ensure high application throughput.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile code reviews, unit testing, and cross-functional design discussions to ensure stable production releases.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of core software engineering experience (with up to 7+ years preferred for senior tracks).
- Backend Stack: Deep proficiency in .NET Core (.NET 6+), ASP.NET MVC, C#, and microservices architecture.
- Frontend Stack: Hands-on expertise in modern web frameworks (Angular or React) along with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- AI Competency: Advanced, practical familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and prompt-driven coding workflows.
- System Design: Solid understanding of REST APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms, and relational database tuning.
- Preferred Exposure: Experience with event-driven streaming tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
