Role Summary
Unisys is hiring a Senior Engineer – Automation with 8+ years of experience for its engineering centers in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. In this automation leadership role, you will design and deploy technical architectures for IT infrastructure automation, build proofs of concept (PoCs), integrate APIs for cloud and platform provisioning, and mentor junior engineers across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Architecture & Execution: Translate complex business process workflows into modular technical designs and engineer automation routines using ServiceNow Orchestrator, Ansible, and Foreman.
- Cloud & Platform Integration: Develop Cloud Management Platform (CMP) procedures and interface with REST APIs for automated cloud and infrastructure manipulation.
- Agile Delivery & Code Governance: Perform peer code reviews, create unit/integration tests, adhere to ITIL/ITSM best practices, and deliver automated workflows to account teams.
- Technical Leadership & PoC Development: Build MVPs and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for emerging automation technologies, present technical business cases, and mentor global development teams.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of expert-level experience in IT infrastructure services, automation programming, and scripting.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: ServiceNow Orchestrator, Ansible, Foreman, and Infrastructure Automation tools.
- Preferred Exposure: DevOps pipelines, ITSM/ITIL framework management, Cloud APIs, and CMP integration.
