Role Summary
Ubique is seeking an experienced Azure / On-Prem Hybrid Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud environments integrating Microsoft Azure with enterprise on-premises infrastructure. In this full-time onsite role, you will take ownership of core Azure workloads, hybrid connectivity architectures, CI/CD automation with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), identity governance via Microsoft Entra ID, and full-stack cloud observability. You will provide L3 incident troubleshooting and drive capacity planning and cost-optimization initiatives across client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Workload Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain core Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, Application Gateway, API Management, Functions, and Logic Apps.
- Hybrid Networking: Architect and troubleshoot hybrid connectivity solutions utilizing VNets, DNS, Site-to-Site VPN, ExpressRoute, Virtual Network Gateways, NSGs, and Load Balancers.
- DevOps & Automation: Author and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates, managing automated CI/CD workflows and YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Identity & Access Control: Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Conditional Access policies, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and identity governance.
- Operations & Incident Resolution: Deliver L3 operational support, resolve infrastructure incidents, build observability dashboards using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, and implement FinOps cost/capacity optimization.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience: 3 to 8 years of proven hands-on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and hybrid integration operations.
- Core Technical Skills: Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure DevOps (YAML Pipelines), Terraform/Bicep/ARM, Microsoft Entra ID, Hybrid Networking (VPN/ExpressRoute), and PowerShell/Bash scripting.
- Key Methodologies: Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD Automation, L3 Incident Troubleshooting, and Cloud Cost Optimization.
- Preferred Capabilities: Exposure to Application Insights, FinOps practices, ISO/SOC security compliance, or certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-500.
