Role Summary
TrueFoundry is hiring a Frontend Engineering Intern to join our engineering hub in Bengaluru. Backed by Sequoia and Intel Capital, TrueFoundry builds foundational infrastructure for production AI and agentic systems, powering workloads for global enterprises like Mastercard, Siemens, and Paytm. In this hands-on internship, you will collaborate directly with product, design, and backend engineering teams to craft responsive, low-latency, and intuitive developer interfaces across our AI Gateway and Kubernetes-native AI Deploy platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Feature Development: Build, enhance, and ship production-ready frontend features, monitoring dashboards, and complex workflow canvases using React.js and Next.js.
- UI/UX Engineering: Implement modular, accessible, and responsive user interfaces utilizing TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern web component libraries.
- API Integration: Connect frontend interfaces with backend microservices via REST APIs, managing client-side data fetching, caching, and state synchronization.
- Performance & Optimization: Audit and optimize frontend bundle sizes, rendering cycles, and core web vitals to ensure smooth experiences across complex developer dashboards.
- Engineering Best Practices: Author clean, maintainable, and reusable frontend components, participate actively in code reviews, and maintain Git workflows.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of hands-on frontend development experience demonstrated via prior internships, portfolio web apps, or open-source contributions.
- Core Stack: Strong foundation in modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS.
- Web Fundamentals: Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, browser networking, DOM manipulation, and asynchronous programming.
- Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with Next.js, modern UI toolkits (such as Radix UI or shadcn/ui), and curiosity regarding AI/ML platforms and developer tools.
- Mindset: Detail-oriented eye for design polish, self-driven learning agility, and excitement for fast-paced startup execution.
