Role Summary
Thoughtworks is hiring a Senior Developer (Java Fullstack + AI) for its office in Pune, Maharashtra. In this technical leadership role, you will collaborate with cross-functional consulting teams to design and build scalable, microservices-based distributed systems using Java, React, and AWS cloud platforms. You will integrate Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) concepts into enterprise applications while advocating for Test-Driven Development (TDD), DevSecOps, CI/CD, and pair programming to drive digital innovation for global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Fullstack & AI Engineering: Build, test, and deploy clean, reusable fullstack applications using Java, React, AWS, and enterprise Generative AI/LLM integrations.
- Agile Practices & Technical Excellence: Practice and promote Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Microservices Architecture & DevSecOps: Construct large-scale distributed microservices architectures and implement DevSecOps tools to shift security left in development pipelines.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Drive high-level technical direction, conduct code quality reviews, address non-functional requirements, and mentor junior developers.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java, React, and AWS in enterprise environments.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Java, Fullstack Web Development, React.js, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Generative AI & Large Language Models (LLMs), and TDD.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Microservices architecture, DevSecOps pipelines, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Agile methodologies (XP/Scrum/Kanban), and open-source contributions.
- Work Setup: Full-time onsite role at the Thoughtworks office or client site in Pune.
