Role Summary
TELUS Digital is hiring a Quality Assurance Rater - English (India) for its global AI Community. In this remote, part-time freelance role, you will perform analytical assessments of search engine results and AI-generated outputs. You will evaluate content accuracy, research facts, document guideline edge cases, and provide clear written feedback to enhance large language models (LLMs) and search algorithms.
Key Responsibilities
- AI & Search Evaluation: Assess search engine results, LLM responses, and AI-generated media for relevance, factual accuracy, and overall quality.
- Research & Fact Verification: Conduct web research using search engines and online reference tools to verify information and validate rating choices.
- Guideline Feedback & QA: Apply detailed rating guidelines consistently, identify edge cases, log inconsistencies, and participate in quality calibration sessions.
- Documentation: Provide detailed written rationales and explanations for ratings when required.
Key Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a continuous resident of India for the past 5 years with daily access to a broadband internet connection, smartphone, and PC.
- Experience: Freshers and experienced freelancers with strong analytical, research, and factual verification skills.
- Mandatory Skills: Excellent English writing and comprehension, online research capabilities, attention to detail, and awareness of current and historical Indian/global cultural context.
- Preferred Background: Prior experience in quality assurance, data annotation, content moderation, editing, journalism, or domain expertise in STEM, Finance, Law, or Social Sciences.
- Work Setup: 100% Remote, flexible part-time freelancing role paid at 8 USD per hour based on task completion.
