Role Overview
Techiebears is seeking a detail-oriented Frontend Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in React.js, Next.js, and React Native based out of Mumbai (Parel) or Thane (Bhiwandi), Maharashtra, India. In this role, you will build, optimize, and maintain responsive web and mobile applications, converting UI/UX designs into modular, performant code while integrating backend RESTful APIs and collaborating closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers.
Core Responsibilities
- Web & Mobile Engineering: Build, test, and deploy scalable web and mobile applications using React.js, Next.js, and React Native.
- UI/UX Implementation: Convert design wireframes into responsive, high-quality code using modern styling frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or Styled Components.
- API Integration: Connect frontend client interfaces with backend services via RESTful APIs and handle dynamic data flows.
- Performance & Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum performance, cross-device responsiveness, and runtime scalability.
- Quality & Versioning: Write clean, reusable code, maintain version control workflows using Git (GitHub/GitLab), and participate in code reviews to improve engineering standards.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI/UX inconsistencies and performance defects across development and production environments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Professional Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven hands-on software development experience specializing in frontend web and mobile technologies.
- Core Web Technologies: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), basic TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or Styled Components).
- React & Next.js Ecosystem: Solid understanding of React fundamentals (Hooks, Context API, Functional Components) alongside Next.js capabilities (SSR, SSG, dynamic routing, and API routes).
- Mobile App Development: Hands-on experience with React Native for cross-platform mobile development.
- State & Data Handling: Solid understanding of Redux or Context API for state management, combined with RESTful API integration experience.
- Tools & Preferred Skills: Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab); basic familiarity with GraphQL is advantageous.
