Automation Tester (Selenium / Core Java / Cloud Services)

Role Summary

TCG Digital is seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our quality engineering team across Kolkata or Mumbai, India. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for testing, integrating, and deploying cloud services and enterprise web platforms. Leveraging Selenium (WebDriver/Grid), Core Java, and API testing frameworks, you will design automated test suites, analyze system performance, troubleshoot and isolate complex issues, and collaborate closely with developers, partners, and cross-functional project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Services Testing & Deployment: Understand functional cloud architecture requirements to test, validate, integrate, and verify deployed cloud services.
• Test Automation Suite Development: Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium (WebDriver/Grid), Core Java, TestNG, and JUnit frameworks.
• API & Protocol Validation: Perform functional, integration, and performance testing for REST and SOAP web services, messaging queues, and database backends.
• Defect Management & Isolation: Identify, log, triage, and track defects across systems while performing root-cause analysis and defect isolation.
• System Diagnostics & Performance: Conduct performance diagnosis, troubleshooting, and validation across clustered environments, load-balanced systems, and Linux servers.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with developers, enterprise customers, vendor partners, and delivery teams to ensure delivery milestones and quality standards are met.

Key Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of proven hands-on experience in automated testing and software quality assurance.
• Core Technical Skills: Strong programming proficiency in Core Java, Selenium (IDE, RC, WebDriver, Grid), JUnit, TestNG, RESTful APIs, and basic Linux administration.
• Testing Tooling: Experience with SOAPUI, QTP/UFT, Mobile Testing frameworks, and defect tracking systems.
• Preferred Capabilities: Familiarity with Angular frontends, messaging architectures, relational/NoSQL databases, load balancers, and distributed cloud clusters.
