Role Summary
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for an experienced Splunk Administrator in Gurgaon with 5+ years of experience. The role is responsible for administering, monitoring, optimizing, securing, and supporting enterprise Splunk environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Splunk Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Splunk Enterprise components.
- Platform Monitoring: Monitor Splunk platform health and performance and perform performance tuning as required.
- Data Management: Manage data onboarding, indexing, and retention policies.
- Incident Support: Troubleshoot incidents and resolve production issues within the Splunk environment.
- Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports.
- Collaboration: Work with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support enterprise requirements.
- Automation: Support automation and operational excellence initiatives.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 5–12 years of relevant experience, with 5+ years of experience in Splunk administration.
- Splunk: Strong experience with Splunk Enterprise Administration, SPL, and Indexer and Search Head Management.
- Monitoring: Experience with Splunk monitoring, platform performance, and performance tuning.
- Linux/Unix: Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
- Data & Logs: Experience with data onboarding and log analysis.
- Operations: Experience with incident and problem management.
- Databricks: Exposure to Databricks and integration knowledge.
- Education: Bachelor of Technology.
