SAP Basis Specialist

Role Summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring an SAP Basis Specialist for its Chennai location. In this role, you will be responsible for technical administration, system monitoring, performance tuning, and life-cycle management across SAP ERP, S/4 HANA, Fiori, and NetWeaver systems, driving full end-to-end enterprise implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP System Administration: Manage end-to-end technical administration and maintenance for SAP ERP, S/4 HANA, Fiori, and NetWeaver platforms.
• Implementation Execution: Execute full lifecycle implementations across S/4 HANA and NetWeaver environments following best practices.
• System Performance & Tuning: Monitor SAP landscapes, analyze system performance, troubleshoot basis issues, and execute system refreshes/upgrades.
• Infrastructure Alignment: Collaborate with IT technology groups to maintain continuous availability and system security.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology (B.E. / B.Tech), preferably with an ECE background.
• Experience: Minimum 4 to 8 years of dedicated hands-on experience in SAP Basis.
• Mandatory Requirement: Minimum of 4 end-to-end implementations completed in SAP ERP, S/4 HANA, Fiori, and NetWeaver.
• Technical Skills: Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP Basis, SAP S/4 HANA, Fiori apps deployment, NetWeaver basis architecture, and database administration.
