Role Summary
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring an experienced Oracle Consultant (Oracle EBS Technical) to join our enterprise technology practice in Hyderabad. In this role, you will lead the technical design, development, and integration of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules. You will build complex backend data solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, design enterprise forms and reports, implement high-performance BI Publisher data models, engineer integrations connecting EBS to third-party systems, and diagnose complex database-level issues across business-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oracle EBS Technical Engineering: Design, develop, customize, and maintain extensions across Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
- Reporting & Analytics: Build, customize, and tune complex business reports and document templates using BI Publisher (XML Publisher).
- Enterprise System Integration: Architect and implement robust inbound/outbound integrations connecting Oracle EBS to heterogeneous external platforms and messaging backbones.
- Troubleshooting & Code Remediation: Perform root-cause analysis on complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, interfaces, and data conversion scripts to optimize execution performance.
- Technical Governance: Collaborate with functional leads and cross-functional teams to translate enterprise business specifications into production-grade technical deliverables.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or equivalent technical degree.
- Experience: 5 to 18 years of hands-on technical development experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementations and support.
- Core Stack: Deep technical mastery of Oracle EBS R12, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, and external systems integration.
- Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with Oracle Workflow Builder, enterprise data migration/conversion tools, Apache Kafka, or QAD ERP integration.
- Professional Competencies: Strong analytical debugging, disciplined task prioritization in deadline-driven projects, and proactive stakeholder communication.
