Role Overview
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring an Angular Front End Developer to join its Technology practice in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In this role, you will design and develop scalable, responsive, and accessible enterprise-grade user interfaces using Angular (v15 or above), TypeScript, and modern web standards. You will implement UI components based on UX wireframes and visual designs, integrate frontend views with backend REST APIs, and optimize cross-browser performance and accessibility across applications.
Core Responsibilities
- UI Development: Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance enterprise user interfaces using Angular (v15 or above), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Design Implementation: Translate UX wireframes, visual designs, and technical specifications into functional, pixel-perfect frontend components.
- API Integration: Integrate frontend components and services with backend RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data streams effectively.
- Performance & Standards: Optimize UI performance, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and apply accessibility guidelines adhering to WCAG and ARIA standards.
- Layouts & Styling: Utilize Bootstrap and modern CSS grid systems to ensure consistent responsive behavior across mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional development teams, participate in sprint planning, and resolve frontend defects across environments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
- Professional Experience: 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in frontend web development.
- Core Framework & Language: Strong expertise in Angular (version 15 or above) and TypeScript.
- Web Fundamentals: Deep proficiency in modern HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Integration & Styling: Practical experience with REST API integration and responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap and CSS Grid systems.
- Accessibility & Optimization: Working knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG / ARIA) and UI performance tuning.
