Role Summary
Tanla Platforms is hiring a Data Analyst for its Product & Engineering team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will collect, clean, process, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable business insights. You will write complex SQL queries, build dashboards and visualizations, apply statistical methods, and automate reporting pipelines to drive data-informed business decisions across CPaaS products.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Validation: Gather, clean, and validate datasets from multiple sources to guarantee data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Database & Querying: Write optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and manipulate data across databases.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop dashboards, visual reports, and data models using visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Superset).
- Process Automation & Analysis: Automate repetitive reporting workflows, perform ad-hoc statistical analysis, and present findings to key business stakeholders.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with product and business teams to translate complex requirements into analytical frameworks.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of dedicated experience in data analysis or similar quantitative roles.
- Core Technical Stack: Strong SQL knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse), Advanced MS Excel, Python or R scripting, and data modeling.
- Visualization Tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Apache Superset.
- Preferred Exposure: Familiarity with big data technologies (Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark), ETL pipelines, or machine learning concepts.
