Role Summary
Sutherland is hiring an Azure DevOps Engineer for its Hyderabad office. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, cloud infrastructure, release management workflows, and monitoring solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. You will automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, orchestrate containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and drive DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD & Release Engineering: Design, build, and maintain automated build, deployment, and release pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML scripts.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Provision and manage Microsoft Azure cloud services including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Key Vault.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement IaC strategies using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep for reproducible infrastructure provisioning.
- Container Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Monitoring & System Reliability: Monitor system performance, configure Application Insights and Log Analytics, manage Git branching strategies, and troubleshoot production deployment issues.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 3 to 8 years of dedicated experience in Azure DevOps and cloud engineering.
- Core Technical Stack: Expertise in Azure DevOps, Git, YAML Pipelines, Terraform/ARM/Bicep, Docker, and AKS.
- Monitoring & Security: Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Azure Key Vault.
- Preferred Credentials: Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) are a plus.
