Test Data Engineer III (K2View / Azure Data Lake / PySpark)

Role Summary

StanCorp Global Services (The Standard) is seeking an experienced Test Data Engineer III to join our Enterprise Test Data Management (TDM) team in Bellandur, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Operating in a hybrid model, this role is responsible for architecting and developing end-to-end test data pipelines and synchronization mechanisms across diverse enterprise platforms. You will leverage tools like K2View, Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, and PySpark to design, mask, synthesize, and provision production-like, secure, and compliant test datasets for agile digital delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Data Pipeline Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain K2View Logical Units (LUs), business entities, data flows, and automated synchronization processes to deliver compliant, production-like test data.
• Multi-Platform Data Integration: Ingest and transform data from diverse enterprise repositories including Salesforce, Mainframe systems, Oracle, SQL Server, REST APIs, and Azure Data Lake environments.
• Data Privacy & Synthesis: Implement advanced data masking, data subsetting, and synthetic data generation techniques to ensure non-production environments comply strictly with data privacy regulations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Scientists, QA squads, and Software Engineers to design AI-ready data solutions and embed test data automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Platform Optimization & Mentorship: Tune TDM workflows for high scalability and reduced compute costs while coaching junior engineering peers on advanced test data engineering patterns.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of applied experience in digital delivery, data engineering, or enterprise test data management.
• Core Technical Skills: Test Data Management (TDM) frameworks, K2View, PySpark, Python scripting, Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, SQL, and CI/CD tools.
• Key Methodologies: Data Masking & Anonymization, Synthetic Data Provisioning, Data Subsetting, and Non-Production Environment Management.
• Preferred Capabilities: Exposure to Databricks, integration experience with Mainframe systems or Salesforce, and familiarity with AI-assisted software testing workflows.
