Role Summary
Sopra Steria is hiring a hands-on Python Senior Software Engineer - Generative & Agentic AI in Noida. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, AI agents, enterprise copilots, and RAG-based knowledge systems. You will integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with enterprise APIs, databases, and microservices using modern agent frameworks, vector stores, and cloud architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Agentic AI & Copilot Engineering: Design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents, copilots, and multi-agent workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, and Google ADK.
- RAG & Knowledge Systems: Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, semantic search engines, and enterprise knowledge assistants using vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, Milvus, Weaviate).
- API & Backend Development: Build high-performance RESTful microservices and API integrations using Python and web frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
- AI Developer Tooling & MLOps: Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and package, containerize (Docker), and deploy AI services into public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Technical Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct workshops, technical demos, and architectural reviews with cross-functional product and engineering leadership.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 8 years of overall software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to Generative AI, Agentic AI, and LLM application development.
- Core Tech Stack: Expert proficiency in Python, REST APIs, FastAPI/Flask, Docker, CI/CD, and vector database management.
- AI Framework Mastery: Hands-on expertise with Agentic AI tools (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen), Function/Tool calling, Prompt Engineering, and RAG architectures.
- Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP), Multi-Agent Systems, GraphRAG, Semantic Kernel, RAGAS/Promptfoo evaluation, or Streamlit/React frontend tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong self-starter with excellent presentation, communication, and cross-team collaborative skills.
