Role Summary
Sopra Steria is seeking an experienced Network Security Infrastructure Lead to join our engineering and infrastructure operations practice in Noida. In this technical leadership role, you will take ownership of maintaining, securing, and optimizing global enterprise campus and data center networks. You will administer enterprise Routing & Switching fabrics, govern Network Access Control (NAC) policies via Aruba ClearPass (CPPM), oversee Aruba wireless infrastructure, manage Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols, and partner with security and OEM vendors to ensure maximum platform resilience and high availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Access Control & Identity: Design, administer, and troubleshoot Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) implementations, including 802.1X authentication, RADIUS/TACACS+, posture assessment, and dynamic policy enforcement.
- Enterprise Routing & Switching: Configure, maintain, and optimize Aruba/HP switches, core routers, and campus distribution architectures, managing VLANs, Spanning Tree (STP), LACP, OSPF, and BGP routing protocols.
- Wireless Infrastructure Operations: Manage enterprise WLAN environments encompassing Aruba Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Access Points (APs), executing RF tuning, firmware upgrades, and coverage optimization.
- Incident Triage & Root Cause Analysis: Drive Tier-3 incident response for complex, recurring network outages and performance bottlenecks across DHCP, DNS, and IP transport layers.
- Vendor & Escalation Management: Coordinate with internet service providers (ISPs), internal infrastructure squads, and hardware OEMs for maintenance windows, circuit provisioning, and equipment dispatch.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: 6 to 9 years of dedicated hands-on experience in enterprise network operations and network access security.
- Core Stack: Deep expertise in Aruba ClearPass (CPPM), 802.1X/RADIUS, Aruba/HPE switching and wireless platforms, Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 routing (OSPF, BGP), and network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark).
- Nice to Have: Experience configuring Next-Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco), IPsec/SSL VPN tunnels, NAT, and valid certifications such as Aruba Certified Mobility/ClearPass Professional or Cisco CCNP Enterprise/Security.
- Professional Competencies: Strong technical problem-solving capabilities, structured runbook documentation habits, and polished cross-functional communication skills.
