Role Summary
Sopra Steria is hiring a Cloud DevOps Module Lead for its Noida office. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable cloud automation solutions, containerized deployments, and robust CI/CD delivery pipelines. You will orchestrate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) architectures using Terraform and Ansible, manage Kubernetes environments, and automate deployment workflows across enterprise cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Automation: Architect and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible to automate cloud component provisioning.
- Container Orchestration: Design, configure, and manage production-grade Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
- CI/CD Engineering: Build, optimize, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, and custom pipeline scripts.
- Scripting & Process Optimization: Write complex automation scripts in Bash, Python, or Groovy to eliminate manual tasks and streamline deployment workflows.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to optimize release cycles, enforce security standards, and troubleshoot build or deployment failures.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant hands-on experience in Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or Systems Engineering.
- Container & IaC Stack: Deep, practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible configuration management.
- CI/CD & Scripting Depth: Hands-on proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy).
- Cloud & OS Exposure: Strong operational understanding of Linux system administration and core public cloud services (AWS or Azure).
