Role Overview
Solweaver is hiring an Entry Level – Mobile Application Developer to join its application development and engineering team. In this role, you will contribute across all stages of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of native and hybrid mobile applications. While designed as an entry-level opportunity, this position offers structured growth toward advanced competencies as a full-fledged software engineer.
Core Responsibilities
- Application Development: Build, configure, and maintain responsive mobile applications across Android, iOS, and hybrid architectures.
- UI & Web Technologies: Implement modern, clean front-end interfaces utilizing HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and jQuery Mobile.
- Build & Deployment: Prepare, test, and assist in deploying mobile applications across platforms (Android, iOS, and Windows).
- Testing & Optimization: Perform unit testing, troubleshoot functional discrepancies, and optimize mobile app performance and responsiveness.
- Framework Evaluation: Assist in evaluating and identifying relevant software tools and mobile frameworks tailored to project-specific requirements.
- Collaborative Engineering: Work alongside team members to transform project requirements into reliable, working software code.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience Level: 0 to 2 years of relevant classroom training, internship, or professional work experience.
- Web Technologies: Practical experience working with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Mobile Development: Formal training or hands-on experience in Android or iOS application development.
- Libraries & Frameworks: Working knowledge of jQuery and jQuery Mobile for hybrid app interfaces.
- Deployment Basics: Familiarity with building or packaging mobile applications on Android, iOS, or Windows environments.
- Communication: Good verbal and written English communication skills with high learning agility and problem-solving aptitude.
