Role Summary
Société Générale is looking for an Analyst – Fees & Invoice Management to join its Business Analytics team in Bangalore. The role will support the US-based CSA program through trade reconciliation, invoice and fee management, client servicing, issue resolution, and financial analysis while working closely with global trading, sales, technology, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- CSA Reconciliation: Perform monthly trade reconciliations with clients or aggregator representatives, identify breaks, troubleshoot issues, and propose resolutions.
- Break Resolution: Work with the US team to resolve reconciliation breaks and maintain knowledge repositories to improve future processing.
- Global Coordination: Collaborate with trading, sales, technology, operations, brokers, Front Office, and Middle Office teams to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Client Servicing: Track reconciliations, breaks, resolutions, client requests, eligibility changes, rate cards, and pools while ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Fee Management: Perform allocation and calculation of fees across different business lines and post required internal entries.
- Invoice & Settlement Support: Follow up with brokers and internal stakeholders to support timely settlement of invoices and brokerage activity across global exchanges.
- Analysis & Reporting: Prepare detailed analysis and reports for management and traders on a regular or requested basis.
- Risk & Controls: Perform checks and controls to reduce the risk of overpayments, incorrect payments, and incorrect application of funds.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of financial data analysis experience.
- Financial Analysis: Strong analytical, quantitative, numerical, and problem-solving skills with experience working with financial data.
- Reconciliation: Experience with reconciliation, identifying discrepancies, investigating breaks, and supporting resolution activities.
- Microsoft Office: Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word or similar software tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Organization: Strong time-management and planning skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks.
- Client & Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with clients and global teams in a fast-paced financial operations environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work late shifts when required to provide coverage for the US team.
