Role Summary
Siemens is seeking an AI Engineer – Copilot Studio to design, build, and maintain conversational AI agents and automation solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. The role focuses on Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Copilot Studio: Design, configure, build, and optimize conversational agents using topics, entities, variables, adaptive cards, skills, actions, and flows.
- Power Automate: Develop and maintain workflows using standard and premium connectors, flow design, and exception handling.
- Data Integration: Connect, map, and transform data from Dataverse, SQL, SharePoint, APIs, Excel, and Dynamics 365.
- API Integration: Integrate REST APIs and develop custom connectors to extend Copilot and automation capabilities.
- Testing & Optimization: Test, troubleshoot, and continuously improve Copilot agents and Power Automate workflows for reliability and performance.
- Microsoft Ecosystem: Develop solutions integrating Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Solution Development: Translate business and consultant requirements into functional conversational AI agents and automated workflows.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation and provide guidance for internal stakeholders.
Key Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, including topics, conversation flows, skills, and actions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate, including standard and premium connectors, flow design, and exception handling.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Apps, Dataverse, AI Builder, and connectors.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 data models and integration patterns.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and Custom Connectors.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of data modeling and transformation for conversational AI scenarios.
- Exposure to Azure Functions, Logic Apps, DevOps practices, CI/CD, Git, or Azure DevOps is advantageous.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
