Member of Technical Staff (Emulation & Validation)

Role Summary

Siemens EDA is looking for a Member of Technical Staff to join our Research & Development team in Noida under a hybrid work model. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive hardware emulation test plans to validate complex semiconductor designs. You will model, debug, and verify digital architectures using hardware description languages, partnering directly with frontend design, verification, and embedded software teams to guarantee pre-silicon reliability and peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Emulation Test Planning: Architect and implement test plans to validate complex digital logic and multi-subsystem semiconductor products.
• HDL Modeling: Design, configure, and maintain emulation models using Verilog and VHDL.
• Pre-Silicon Debugging: Isolate functional flaws, run root-cause analysis on hardware-software interactions, and optimize emulation cycles.
• Cross-Functional Triage: Partner closely with ASIC design, functional verification, and software engineering groups to drive technical issues to closure.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in digital design, hardware emulation, or pre-silicon validation.
• Core Stack: Proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, digital circuit design principles, and hardware emulation platforms.
• Nice to Have: Experience with SystemVerilog, FPGA prototyping, ASIC verification flows, and EDA software suites.
• Professional Competencies: Methodical hardware debugging ability, high attention to detail, and crisp communication across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
