Role Summary
Siemens Digital Industries Software is hiring a Software QA Engineer - Advanced, Test Automation & AI for its R&D team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will design and implement automated testing solutions across functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end scenarios. You will integrate continuous test pipelines into CI/CD workflows, execute SPARQL queries for RDF/knowledge-graph applications, and pioneer quality assurance approaches for AI-agent-driven workflows and LLM-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Automation Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, or Cypress.
- API & Data Testing: Design and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs (Postman/Swagger), perform database validation, and write/optimize SPARQL queries for RDF and Knowledge Graph data models.
- AI & LLM Workflow Validation: Develop specialized testing strategies for AI-agent-driven workflows and Generative AI applications, evaluating functional behavior, accuracy, and workflow reliability.
- CI/CD & Quality Governance: Embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI), track defects in Jira/X-Ray, conduct root cause analysis, and report quality metrics across Agile sprints.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong hands-on test automation expertise.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Java/Python/TypeScript, automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, PyTest, TestNG), REST API automation, SPARQL query validation, Git, and CI/CD tools.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Experience testing AI agents/LLMs, familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, JMeter performance testing, DAST security concepts, and TestRail/X-Ray.
- Core Competencies: Excellent analytical problem-solving, TDD/BDD Agile mindset, and clear technical communication.
