Role Summary
Setoo is hiring an enthusiastic Gen AI Engineer Intern (leading to a Pre-Placement Offer / PPO) to join our artificial intelligence engineering team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. In this full-time, in-office internship, you will actively build, fine-tune, and deploy cutting-edge Generative AI applications and AI agent workflows. You will design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases, optimize prompts to reduce hallucinations, and integrate state-of-the-art foundation models (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source HuggingFace models) into core software products.
Key Responsibilities
- LLM Implementation & AI Agents: Build and experiment with autonomous AI agents and intelligent workflows using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGPT.
- RAG Pipeline Development: Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures leveraging vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, or Weaviate) for semantic retrieval.
- Prompt Engineering & Safety: Design, test, and optimize dynamic prompts to maximize answer relevance, improve model accuracy, and mitigate hallucinations.
- Model & API Integration: Connect proprietary and open-source foundation models (via OpenAI, Anthropic, or Hugging Face APIs) into core software products using RESTful endpoints and JSON data handling.
- Testing & Output Evaluation: Utilize modern evaluation frameworks to benchmark the performance, accuracy, and output safety of deployed AI solutions.
Key Qualifications
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Science / Information Technology), MCA, or M.Sc. IT (Graduating students or recent freshers).
- Experience: 0 to 0 years (Entry-level / Fresher with strong hands-on project experience in AI/ML).
- Core Technical Skills: Advanced Python programming (data structures, asynchronous programming with AsyncIO, and Object-Oriented design) and hands-on RESTful API integration.
- Foundational AI Knowledge: Solid conceptual understanding of Transformers, tokenization, text embeddings, and semantic similarity search.
- Preferred Capabilities: Familiarity with LlamaIndex, vector indexing, Hugging Face pipelines, and a passion for analyzing research papers to build practical implementations.
