Role Summary
ServiceNow is hiring a Software Engineer for its AI Experience Framework (AIUX) team in Hyderabad, Telangana. In this full-stack and web platform role, you will build modular, reusable conversational interfaces and component architectures using modern Lit-based Web Components, Java, and JavaScript. You will work across server-side rendering (SSR) runtimes, Generative AI integrations, and the ServiceNow Glide platform to deliver high-performance, scalable conversational AI products like Employee Slate.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Architecture & Development: Design and build high-quality, clean, and reusable code across modern JavaScript component frameworks and backend Java systems.
- AIUX Platform Engineering: Develop modular, conversation-first user interface components and SSR runtimes (server-rendered Lit components, versioned request routing, isolated execution pools).
- Glide Platform Integration: Integrate front-end AI conversational components with underlying ServiceNow Glide platform services and APIs.
- Quality Assurance & Code Excellence: Participate in peer code reviews, write automated unit tests, optimize application performance, and enforce software engineering best practices.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java (or similar Object-Oriented languages) and modern JavaScript/web technologies.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Java, JavaScript, Web Components (Lit), modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue), Object-Oriented Design, and Data Structures/Algorithms.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Server-Side Rendering (SSR), AI tooling integration, ServiceNow Glide platform, Git, unit testing frameworks, and Unix debugging/profiling tools.
- Work Setup: Full-time position under ServiceNow's Flexible work persona in Hyderabad, Telangana.
