Role Summary
Schneider Electric is looking for a Data Analyst I – I.A.V. Associate to join its global team supporting invoice management, billing analysis, contract administration, and data reporting. The role is suitable for junior candidates and requires strong MS Excel skills, analytical ability, and a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Analysis: Analyze invoices and identify billing discrepancies and potential charge errors.
- Invoice Auditing: Perform invoice audits using Excel and internal tools to identify and resolve billing issues.
- Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers through phone and email to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Reporting: Update reports accurately and provide required information to customers.
- Contract Administration: Build Excel-based calculations using customer contract and billing information.
- Data Management: Maintain special databases containing contracting and billing data.
- Quality Control: Ensure high levels of productivity, accuracy, data quality, and attention to detail.
- Communication: Participate in internal and external communications within an international environment.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform additional analytical and administrative tasks assigned by the manager.
Key Qualifications
- Junior candidates and freshers are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel is mandatory.
- Experience with invoice analysis, billing data, contract data, or financial data is advantageous.
- Knowledge of MS Access is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent university/college degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and logical skills with a focus on accuracy and data quality.
- Ability to manage routine data-related tasks with precision and consistency.
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
