Role Summary
Schneider Electric is seeking an Associate – Sustainability Reporting and ESG Rating to support clients with sustainability reporting, environmental compliance, ESG data analysis, and sustainability initiatives across Europe. The role involves analyzing environmental, social, and governance data, preparing reports, supporting client reporting initiatives, and contributing to sustainability strategies and reporting models.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Reporting: Develop and deliver client sustainability reports and support internal and external reporting initiatives.
- ESG Data Analysis: Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of environmental, social, and governance data and produce accurate reports.
- Client Engagement: Lead client interactions, present results, explain findings, and identify client sustainability requirements.
- Compliance Support: Support clients in meeting mandatory and voluntary environmental compliance obligations and sustainability targets.
- Sustainability Strategy: Research, analyze, and provide insights on client-specific sustainability policies, activities, and strategies.
- Reporting Models: Contribute to the development of sustainability initiatives and reporting models for monitoring energy reduction and sustainability goals.
- Program Delivery: Lead delivery programs involving multiple internal and external stakeholders while managing timelines and risks.
- Data Management: Analyze, summarize, validate, and challenge sustainability data and other relevant information.
- Product Development: Support the development of new products and services related to environmental compliance and sustainability.
- Quality & Compliance: Follow applicable quality and environmental management processes, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
Key Qualifications
- 2–3 years of professional experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- University diploma or degree in Environmental, Economics, Legal, or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas and functions.
- Experience with sustainability reporting, ESG data, environmental analysis, or compliance is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of European environmental and carbon regulations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and logical skills with the ability to work with quantitative and qualitative data.
- Ability to analyze and summarize complex information and produce accurate reports.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
