Role Summary
Salesforce is hiring a Software Engineering MTS (Full Stack) - AI Generalist for its Demo Tools & Platform Engineering group in Hyderabad. In this role, you will build internal platforms and intelligent systems that power Salesforce demo experiences worldwide. Moving beyond conventional tooling, you will design full-stack architectures embedding autonomous agents, orchestration workflows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Slack automation bots to power high-scale enterprise demo generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Platform Engineering: Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and robust backend runtimes (Node.js, Python).
- Autonomous Agent & LLM Development: Integrate LLM APIs and construct agentic orchestration workflows, tool-use abstractions, and reusable skills that allow AI agents to invoke internal systems.
- RAG & Context Pipelines: Implement context-aware data pipelines, vector embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures to enrich platform knowledge.
- Internal Automation & Slack Tooling: Build conversational bots, Slack-based integrations, and automated self-service capabilities to optimize developer workflows.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of professional full-stack development and platform engineering experience.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue), RESTful microservices, and LLM API integrations with structured outputs.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT), vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), Slack API ecosystems, and Salesforce architectures (Agentforce, Data Cloud).
- Core Soft Skills: End-to-end task ownership in ambiguous environments, sharp system design fundamentals, and collaborative cross-functional execution.
