APAC Payroll Analyst (ES People and Payroll Specialist)

Role Summary

Salesforce is hiring an APAC Payroll Analyst (ES People and Payroll Specialist) for its Employee Success team in Hyderabad, Telangana. In this cross-regional role, you will manage end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, and HR service inquiries for employees across India, Australia, Singapore, and the broader APAC region. Leveraging Workday HCM, case management tools, and third-party vendors like ADP, you will drive accurate payroll execution, optimize knowledge base resources, and apply AI automation to streamline HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Payroll Operations: Support full payroll cycles for APAC countries (India, Australia, Singapore) by validating employee data changes and coordinating with external payroll vendors such as ADP.
  • Compliance & Statutory Audits: Ensure full compliance with regional tax deductions, statutory contributions (e.g., CPF in Singapore, Superannuation in Australia), and participate in internal/external year-end payroll audits.
  • Employee Case Management: Resolve inquiries related to payroll, benefits, time off, compensation, and HR policies via the Basecamp customer portal and case management tools within SLA deadlines.
  • Workday & Knowledge Base Administration: Leverage Workday HCM to handle employee/manager self-service requests and continuously update knowledge articles to eliminate information gaps.
  • Process Optimization & AI Integration: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for AI-driven HR platforms, identify process inefficiencies, and drive automation to enhance user experience.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on payroll, HR, or shared services experience supporting APAC geographies (specifically India, Australia, and Singapore).
  • Systems & Tools: Demonstrated experience with Workday HCM (or similar HRIS), HR case management ticketing systems, and third-party payroll engines (ADP).
  • Domain Expertise: Solid knowledge of APAC payroll legislation, statutory contributions, tax withholding rules, and year-end reconciliation.
  • Core Attributes: Strong AI-first learning mindset, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional English communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential employee data discreetly.
