Role Summary
Razorpay is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Analyst, Business Operations to join our Payroll Onboarding team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be the front face for new business customers setting up their payroll operations on the Razorpay platform. You will guide clients step-by-step through their initial configuration, track and project onboarding milestones, maintain data integrity using spreadsheet tools, and collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure seamless go-live experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Onboarding: Guide enterprise and SMB clients through the complete onboarding and setup lifecycle for Razorpay's payroll solution.
- Account Management & Tracking: Maintain accurate records of onboarding progress, track project milestones, and report expected closure dates for assigned accounts.
- Operational Data Management: Leverage Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, filters, data modeling) to clean, organize, and monitor customer setup data.
- Issue Escalation & Collaboration: Work closely with internal technical, product, and operations teams to resolve onboarding bottlenecks and escalate integration challenges quickly.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in business operations, client onboarding, or customer success.
- Core Stack: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (data functions, filtering, reporting), operational workflow tracking, and customer account documentation.
- Nice to Have: Direct working knowledge of fintech ecosystems, SaaS platforms, payroll software, or HRMS tools.
- Professional Competencies: Confident customer-facing communication, high ownership, fast learning curve for new software, and structured time management.
