Role Summary
Quest Global is hiring a Java Backend Developer (Engineer - AIML) for a temporary contract position at its engineering center in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. In this backend software engineering role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs using Java 8/17 and Spring Boot while integrating relational databases and Spring Security for enterprise client solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Application Development: Architect and maintain core business logic and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
- API Design & Integration: Design, build, and optimize RESTful Web APIs, conducting thorough integration testing using Postman, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Database Management & Security: Manage relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), write complex SQL queries, and implement user authentication using Spring Security and JWT.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in requirements analysis, code reviews, debugging, and sprint planning in collaboration with frontend engineers and cross-functional project teams.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), or equivalent technical degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years (approx. 2.5 years preferred) of hands-on software development experience in Java backend engineering.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Java 8/17, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, RESTful APIs, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Spring Security, JWT, and Maven.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Microservices architecture, React.js, Python, FastAPI, Apache Tomcat, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Work Setup: Onsite / Hybrid in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (Job ID: P-123151).
