Role Summary
Quest Global is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to build modern, scalable, and enterprise-grade web applications in Bengaluru. The role focuses on React and TypeScript development, reusable UI components, Web Components, backend and real-time service integration, and collaboration with UX, backend, architecture, and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Design and develop scalable, maintainable, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
- UI Components: Build reusable UI components and shared frontend libraries using Material UI, Emotion, and modern frontend development practices.
- API & Real-Time Integration: Integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST APIs, WebSockets, and STOMP-based messaging.
- Web Components: Design and implement reusable Web Components and UI modules that can be shared across multiple applications.
- Enterprise Interfaces: Develop dashboards, data tables, charts, forms, configuration screens, and other enterprise application workflows.
- Quality & Testing: Participate in code reviews, unit and component testing, defect resolution, and continuous improvement of frontend solutions.
- Engineering Standards: Contribute to frontend CI/CD pipelines and establish reusable development patterns, coding standards, and component libraries.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, solution architects, and DevOps teams throughout the application lifecycle.
Key Qualifications
- Core Frontend Skills: Strong hands-on experience with React 18, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Material UI, and Emotion.
- React Development: Experience with React Hooks, state management frameworks such as Zustand or equivalent, React Query/TanStack Query, and Vite.
- Application Integration: Experience with REST API integration, preferably Axios, along with WebSockets and STOMP for real-time communication.
- Web Components: Hands-on experience developing and integrating reusable Web Components.
- Security & Source Control: Experience with Keycloak, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Git, and GitLab.
- Frontend Architecture: Experience with Nx Monorepo and shared or multi-application frontend codebases.
- Testing: Experience with unit and component testing using Vitest and React Testing Library.
- Preferred Skills: Exposure to ECharts or D3.js, Storybook, drag-and-drop UI libraries, internationalization, industrial domains, Kubernetes, or cloud-native environments.
