Role Summary
Quess Corp (Billion Careers) is hiring a DevOps Engineer to support and scale its SaaS product infrastructure in Coimbatore. In this role, you will automate software release cycles, provision and monitor AWS cloud components (EC2, S3, RDS), build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates, and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to maximize uptime, security, and CI/CD efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Architect, manage, and monitor AWS cloud resources including EC2 compute instances, S3 storage buckets, and RDS databases for high availability.
- CI/CD & Release Automation: Build and optimize automated CI/CD deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar DevOps tools.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, develop, and maintain modular infrastructure provisioning scripts using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Container Orchestration & Monitoring: Deploy and manage containerized application workloads with Docker and Kubernetes; maintain observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Security & Incident Resolution: Implement cloud security protocols, conduct security audits, troubleshoot production incidents, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 3+ years of dedicated hands-on experience in a DevOps role managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Core Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting; expertise in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation, and Jenkins/GitLab CI.
- Monitoring & Tools: Working experience with system observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving mindset, collaborative spirit, and excellent communication skills.
