Senior Engineer/Engineer – Enterprise Gen AI

Role Summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is hiring a Senior Engineer/Engineer – Enterprise Gen AI for its Hyderabad R&D team. In this role, you will help build Qualcomm’s Enterprise-Grade Generative AI Platform by developing State-of-the-Art (SOTA) agentic applications, exposure Model SDKs, and application APIs. You will design RAG-based solutions, execute domain-specific LLM fine-tuning strategies, construct multi-step agentic workflows, and build evaluation frameworks to optimize autonomous AI system performance at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• RAG & LLM Solutions: Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and LLM fine-tuning strategies for domain-specific adaptations (e.g., Wireless/5G).
• Agentic Workflows: Construct and maintain autonomous, multi-step agentic workflows and AI system integrations.
• Model Evaluation & Optimization: Build robust evaluation frameworks to measure, benchmark, and continuously iterate on LLM performance metrics.
• SDK & API Infrastructure: Expose Model SDKs, frameworks, and APIs to empower enterprise teams to build custom AI solutions.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master's with Machine Learning specialization preferred).
• Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in AI/Machine Learning software engineering.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Expertise in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Vector Databases (Milvus, Pinecone), LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Transformers.
• Desirable Exposure: Experience with Prompt Engineering, Reinforcement Learning, multi-step AI orchestration, and general programming languages (C, C++, Java).
