Role Summary
Publicis Sapient is hiring a Senior Associate Infrastructure L2 - Azure / DevOps Engineer to join its digital transformation engineering team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will design, configure, automate, and support complex application infrastructure interfaces across Dev, Staging, UAT, and Production environments. You will drive continuous release management, automate server configurations using configuration management tools, and maintain cloud network components across Azure and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Environment Provisioning & Management: Set up, configure, and maintain Development, Staging, UAT, and Production web/application server infrastructure according to security best practices.
- Configuration & Deployment Automation: Manage server deployment pipelines, release strategies, and automated provisioning using Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Nolio.
- Cloud & Network Engineering: Configure network subnets, launch compute instances, set up load balancers, and manage security parameters across Azure (and AWS/GCP).
- CI/CD & Source Control: Maintain distributed version control systems (Git, TFS), build tools (Maven, Gradle), artifact repositories (Nexus, JFrog), and continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity).
- Server Administration & Troubleshooting: Install, manage, and optimize Apache Webserver, Tomcat, and JBoss application servers on Linux/Unix systems using Python and Shell automation scripts.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Full-time Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 4 to 9 years of dedicated experience in DevOps engineering and infrastructure automation.
- Cloud & OS Expertise: Strong working experience with Microsoft Azure (or GCP/AWS) and Linux/Unix system administration.
- DevOps Stack: Hands-on proficiency with Jenkins, Git, Maven, Nexus/Artifactory, Ansible/Chef/Puppet, and scripting (Python, Bash, Shell).
- Desirable Exposure: Docker containerization, VMware resource management, JVM performance tuning (thread dump & log analysis), and TCP/IP network topology.
