Role Summary
Procyon Technostructure is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise and solid frontend development skills to build scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications in Chennai. The role involves backend architecture, REST API development, microservices, database optimization, frontend integration, performance tuning, and end-to-end feature development within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Frontend Development: Build and enhance frontend modules and reusable UI components using modern frontend technologies.
- Microservices: Design and develop applications based on microservices architecture and integrate frontend applications with backend services.
- Database Engineering: Design databases and optimize queries and data access for application performance and scalability.
- Security: Implement application security using Spring Security and JWT authentication.
- Performance & Scalability: Optimize applications for performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
- Production Support: Debug and resolve production-level application issues and technical problems.
- Agile Delivery: Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, deployments, technical discussions, and other Agile development activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX teams to deliver business-critical features.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, reusable code following software development best practices.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Backend Development: Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with hands-on experience developing enterprise applications.
- Frontend Development: Good hands-on experience with React.js, Angular, or Next.js.
- APIs & Architecture: Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Persistence & Databases: Experience with Hibernate/JPA and databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Application Security: Experience with Spring Security and JWT authentication.
- Web Technologies: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Version Control: Experience with Git and version control practices.
- Performance: Strong debugging and application performance optimization skills.
- Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
