Intern - Healthcare Innovation Center (HIC) - Pune

Role Summary

Philips Healthcare Innovation Center (HIC) in Pune, Maharashtra is hiring for a 10-Month Engineering Internship Program. This campus internship is designed for selected B.Tech / M.Tech students across core engineering disciplines. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time employment conversion upon successful completion, subject to performance and role availability.

Note: This internship program is strictly restricted to selected candidates/students from Philips partner institutes.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering Support: Assist senior engineering teams in technical evaluation, testing, product design, or systems development across healthcare medical technology projects.
• Project Execution: Collaborate with project managers and design engineers to deliver project milestones within target timelines.
• Documentation & Testing: Support laboratory testing, verification protocols, hardware/software validation, and technical report drafting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams across Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Product Design divisions.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC), Design Engineering, or related domains.
• Experience: Freshers / Ongoing Campus Students (0 years experience required).
• Key Attributes: Strong core engineering fundamentals, problem-solving mindset, eager learning attitude, and good written and verbal communication skills.
