Role Overview
NTT DATA features an opening for a ServiceNow AI Developer in Bangalore, Karnataka, India (Remote Working). In this specialized platform engineering role, you will design, configure, and scale solutions across the ServiceNow AI Control Tower (AICT) to establish enterprise-level AI governance, asset lifecycle management, and security controls. The role centers on building custom AI agents and skills using the Now Assist Skill Kit and Build Agent, constructing integrations with hyperscaler AI platforms (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, GCP Vertex AI) via Service Graph Connectors, and modeling AI assets within enterprise CMDB and CSDM structures.
Core Responsibilities
- AI Control Tower Configuration: Design, implement, and extend the ServiceNow AI Control Tower (AICT) platform to support organizational AI governance, risk assessments, and compliance policies.
- Agent & Skill Engineering: Build, customize, and maintain autonomous AI agents, skills, custom flow actions, and subflows using Now Assist Skill Kit, Build Agent, and Flow Designer.
- Third-Party AI Integrations: Develop and support secure connectors linking ServiceNow to external AI platforms (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, GCP Vertex AI, Copilot Studio) utilizing IntegrationHub and Service Graph Connectors.
- Data Modeling & CMDB Management: Govern and extend CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) schemas to track, monitor, and classify enterprise AI models, agents, and pipelines as configuration items (CIs).
- Protocol Governance & Security: Configure and validate AI Agent Fabric communication protocols (MCP, A2A) while enforcing persona-based access controls, security constraints, and granular ACLs across application scopes.
- Scripting & Platform Development: Author clean, maintainable server-side and client-side code utilizing JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, and Client Scripts across custom-scoped applications.
- Asset Lifecycle Operations: Manage the full lifecycle of AI assets from intake evaluation and security assessment through deployment, continuous monitoring, versioning, and decommissioning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of dedicated ServiceNow software development experience using App Engine, Studio, and enterprise scripting standards.
- Data Architecture: Strong hands-on knowledge of CMDB and CSDM data health, configuration item class structures, and relationship mapping.
- Workflow & Integration: Demonstrated expertise in Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST integrations, and Service Graph Connector frameworks.
- Platform Security: Thorough experience configuring Access Control Lists (ACLs), roles, plugin dependencies, and scoped application boundaries.
- AI Concepts & Tooling: Solid technical understanding of agentic AI frameworks, LLM orchestration, and practical exposure to the Now Assist Skill Kit or Build Agent.
- Preferred Credentials & Knowledge: Hands-on implementation background in ServiceNow AI Control Tower (AICT), IRM/GRC frameworks, multi-agent communication protocols (MCP/A2A), or official certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
