Role Summary
NetApp is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Product Finance team and support the Hybrid Cloud Business Unit. The role focuses on financial modeling, forecasting, product margin analysis, reporting, and business decision support while partnering with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Product P&L: Support the Product P&L model for the Hybrid Cloud business.
- Financial Forecasting: Assist with monthly forecasts for bookings, revenue, and margin for the core business.
- Pricing Analysis: Analyze financial information to support pricing decisions and business accountability.
- Management Reporting: Analyze financial results, identify key trends, and synthesize insights for senior leadership.
- Business Insights: Help develop presentations and communicate financial insights to management and stakeholders.
- Analytics Improvement: Support cross-functional initiatives focused on analytics improvement, data quality, and self-service reporting.
- FP&A Support: Contribute to ad-hoc financial planning and analysis projects and business activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across the organization to support financial and business decisions.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related field.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with experience developing complex financial models.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for financial modeling, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, P&L analysis, and business analytics.
- Business partnering and executive-level presentation experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with hardware companies is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI, and business analytics is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Preferred educational qualifications include CA, CMA, CFA, or MBA Finance from a reputed university.
