Role Summary
NetApp is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Enterprise Data & Analytics team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on data modeling, ETL development, data pipeline delivery, and applying data technologies to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Engineering: Build, evaluate, and maintain data pipelines for production use.
- Data Modeling: Develop data models for enterprise data warehouses and data marts.
- ETL Development: Work with IICS, Snowflake, and Snowtasks to support data integration and processing.
- Data Integration: Use SQL and RESTful APIs to integrate and process data from different systems.
- Analytics: Identify analytical needs and transform data assets into actionable business information.
- Reporting: Support reporting and data visualization using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Cloud Deployments: Work with on-premises and cloud deployments across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
- Production Delivery: Deliver reliable data systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two domains: Sales, Marketing, Install Base, Finance, or Customer Support.
- Experience delivering multiple complex technical projects.
- Experience with data modeling, enterprise data warehouses, data marts, and ETL tools such as IICS and Snowflake/Snowtasks.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, SSL, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience building and evaluating data pipelines and delivering production-ready systems.
- Working knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, security, and model creation, or Tableau is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Data Warehouse, Snowflake, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure is beneficial.
