Role Summary
MSD (Merck & Co., Inc.) is hiring a Spclst, Cybersecurity Engineering (IAM Assurance Technical) for its IT Technology Center in Hyderabad. In this role, you will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant adoption of enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. You will provide technical subject-matter expertise for Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) onboarding, streamline access workflows, mitigate security risks, and enforce policy alignment across a global infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- IAM Onboarding & Technical Oversight: Lead technical onboarding activities for enterprise IAM solutions—specifically SailPoint IdentityIQ (IGA) and Delinea Secret Server (PAM)—ensuring alignment with engineering release guidelines.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Escalations: Partner with IAM Engineering, Operations, and Business units to resolve technical escalations, drive policy compliance, and socialize security standards.
- Workflow Automation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual access workflows, enhance onboarding procedures, and refine compliance controls across global IT services.
- Risk Mitigation & Advisory: Advise global technical teams on secure authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA) and identity risk mitigation strategies.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management within a medium-to-large enterprise environment.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Advanced knowledge of SAML, Federation, SSO, OpenID Connect, OAuth, MFA, 5+ years with Delinea Secret Server (or enterprise PAM), and 5+ years with SailPoint IdentityIQ (or enterprise IGA).
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Identity-related NIST standards (NIST 800-63-3), cloud identity platforms (Azure AD/Entra ID, AWS), ITIL framework, and industry certifications (CISSP, Security+).
- Core Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional collaboration, technical communication across all organizational levels, adaptability, and analytical problem-solving.
