Role Overview
Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate to join its Ground Transport Operations Support team within the Travel & Expense Management group under Corporate Services in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In this operational and administrative role, you will coordinate and support daily ground transportation, vendor logistics, and employee transit requirements across the firm's Bengaluru and Mumbai offices. You will oversee vendor service delivery, track operational performance metrics, optimize vehicle routing and fleet utilization, and maintain governance and compliance records.
Core Responsibilities
- Daily Transport Operations: Coordinate daily office ground transport logistics and operations across Bengaluru and Mumbai facilities, supporting ongoing office requirements and business continuity programs.
- Vendor & Fleet Supervision: Supervise vendor ground operations, driver management, vehicle allocations, and coordinate with security, facilities, and business stakeholders.
- Performance Analytics & Reporting: Build and maintain operational trackers, performance dashboards, and utilization reports; assist in route optimization reviews and vendor KPI tracking using advanced Excel.
- Issue Tracking & Escalations: Manage incident logs, track service escalations, and coordinate corrective actions with transport vendors to ensure timely resolution.
- Audit, Governance & Safety: Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), audit documentation, and safety tracking, including emergency response (SOS) governance protocols.
- Operational Leadership Coverage: Prepare governance review decks and management reports, and serve as operational backup for the Bengaluru Ground Transport Lead as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in transportation logistics, facility operations, or administrative service delivery.
- Data & Reporting Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, trend tracking, and operational reporting.
- Operational Competencies: Demonstrated ability in vendor supervision, issue escalation management, operational documentation, and coordinating multi-site logistics.
- Preferred Capabilities: Working familiarity with Power BI or automated workflow tools, along with practical experience in India corporate transport operations and fleet compliance.
