React Developer

Role Summary

Michael Page is recruiting a React Developer on behalf of a leading surveying and professional services consultancy firm. In this role, you will develop and maintain high-performance user-facing web features using React.js. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, integrate frontend interfaces with backend RESTful APIs, optimize components for maximum cross-browser compatibility, and participate in peer code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Web Development: Design, code, and maintain scalable user-facing components using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• API Integration & State Management: Connect frontend interfaces with backend RESTful APIs and asynchronous services while managing state using Redux or Context API.
• UI/UX & Component Optimization: Partner with UI/UX teams to implement visual designs and optimize web components for peak speed across browsers and devices.
• Quality & Code Reviews: Debug and resolve technical issues, maintain clean code standards, and participate in peer code reviews.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Mid-to-senior level hands-on experience in frontend web development using React.js.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React.js core concepts, Redux or Context API, RESTful APIs, and Git version control.
• Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving, debugging skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative team mindset.
