Role Summary
Mastercard is seeking an Associate Specialist, Implementation to join the Product Management division in Pune, Maharashtra, India. In this full-time role, you will take ownership of cross-functional processing implementation projects, serving as the central technical liaison for customers and internal teams. You will drive end-to-end execution of electronic payment processing activities ensuring high quality, reliability, and seamless platform onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Integration: Act as the primary point of contact for external customers and Mastercard technical representatives throughout the end-to-end processing execution lifecycle.
- Requirements Assessment: Evaluate and document customer operational needs and analyze implementation impacts across core payment processing systems.
- Project Delivery: Define scope, create implementation schedules, and manage multiple parallel projects following global project coordination standards.
- System & Transaction Operations: Oversee transaction execution flows including authorization, clearing, settlement, and network platform setups.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with matrixed engineering, operations, and product teams to deliver standardized and custom electronic payment solutions.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in IT systems, technical project management, or payment processing environments.
- Core Technical Skills: Payment Processing Systems, Authorization & Clearing, Settlement Flows, Network Technology Fundamentals, and System Integration.
- Key Methodologies: End-to-End Project Management, Client Liaison Execution, Requirements Analysis, and Technical Change Management.
- Preferred Capabilities: Ability to work in matrixed environments, non-negotiable flexibility to work night shifts aligned with US CST timings, and strong technical problem-solving capabilities.
